Hubert Brogniez

Since January 2008, Hubert has been the Managing Director of Finalyse Group. In this role, he is accountable for the global strategy and the international development of Finalyse. In addition, acting as the Commercial Director, he coordinates all cross-border commercial activities of Finalyse.

Hubert created Finalyse in 1988 as a start-up and over the years has been managing the different growing phases of Finalyse by:

  • expanding the activities in Belgium (1988 – 2007)
  • opening shareholdership to 3 other partners (2001)
  • actively developing the internationalisation (2003 – To date)
  • organising Finalyse as a holding company with local entities (2007 – 2008)

During his career at Finalyse, Hubert has built a broad and deep experience of improving  Front to Finance processes for Dealing rooms and asset managers including Business Intelligence related matters.

Prior to creating Finalyse, Hubert gathered experience in the IT domain (system engineer at Siemens) and the strategic consultancy domain (consultant at Aeris consulting).

Hubert holds a Master in Public Administration and a Master degree in Business Administration.

Benoît Leman

Benoît Leman has been Resources Director of Finalyse Group since January 2008. In this role he is responsible of financial strategy and operations, human capital development and information technology for the group Finalyse; with specific spotlights on processes harmonization and resources allocation between the different Finalyse entities.

He joined Finalyse in 1996 where his consulting work was related to front- and middle-office system methodology and implementation issues with a focus on the design and implementation of pricing, ALM and risk management applications. As major achievements, he designed and participated to the implementation of integrated market risk management applications for top banking institutions in Belgium. He became a partner of Finalyse in 2001.

Before joining Finalyse, Benoît worked as a Banking Auditor for Deloitte & Touche, where he was specialised in the external and internal control of financial markets activities in banking institutions.

Benoît holds a Masters in Business Engineering. 

David Kemp

David is currently Professional Services Director at Finalyse accountable for knowledge sharing within the company, delivery management standards and partnerships with other consultancies and software companies in the financial sector. 

David joined Finalyse in 1998 as financial markets consultant, he became a partner in 2002 assuming his current function in 2008.

In addition to his internal role, David works as a consultant providing analysis and validation services on enterprise wide risk projects (such as Economic Capital, ALM and liquidity risk) as well as market risk projects involving the implementation of valuation and risk models for trading activities.

Prior to joining Finalyse, David worked for five years as an implementation consultant and project manager for a software firm providing front-to-back office applications for derivatives desks.

David holds a Master of Science in Knowledge Engineering, a Master in Cognitive Science (option Artificial Intelligence) and in Biochemistry.

Alexander Kloeck

Alexander Kloeck is Country Director of Finalyse Brussels since January 2008. In this role he has overall responsibility the P&L and all consulting activities of Finalyse Brussels overseeing deliver in Financial Markets, Credit Risk, Business Intelligence and Insurance and leading a team of  35+ managers and consultants.

He joined Finalyse in 1999 where his consulting work has been focussed on credit risk and modelling, Basel 2 (Pillar 1 and 2) assignments, the architecture and development of risk systems and managing projects in these areas. He has been serving clients across Europe and became a partner of Finalyse in 2005.

Alexander has a keen interest in the link between risk management and strategy and working on the intersection between risk strategy, organisation, processes and systems in search of improvements in effectiveness.

He holds a Masters in Business Engineering from Solvay Business School and a Masters in Applied Economics.

Keve Müller

Appointed as Country Director of Finalyse Budapest in November 2006, Keve Müller is responsible for Finalyse’s activity in the Central and Eastern European region along the Vienna / Budapest / Bucharest axis. Keve’s primary duties are to establish a higher standard in risk consulting and build up a team of risk consultants.

Being a practitioner, Keve is involved directly in Finalyse projects in the region, taking up project management and advisory responsibilities.

Keve holds a Master in Computer Science from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (2002).

Joachim Vandaele

Appointed as Country Manager early 2009, Joachim Vandaele has the overall responsibility of Finalyse’s recently established office in the Netherlands. In this highly entrepreneurial role, he is in charge of expanding Finalyse’s expertise into the Dutch market, creating a team of risk & finance professionals, and incubating new business propositions. Joachim’s current duties are part of the implementation of a larger international expansion plan which he has been leading since joining Finalyse in 2005. Previous, as International Development Manager, he established Finalyse’s subsidiaries in Warsaw (2006) and Budapest (2007).

As a member of the Group’s Management Committee since 2008, he participates in the company’s strategy and policy making, paying special attention to adapting organisational structures and promoting intercultural awareness.

Prior to joining Finalyse, Joachim was a Credit Risk Officer at KBC Bank and Insurance.

Joachim Vandaele holds a Master in Financial Management & Investment Analysis from HUBrussels (2000) and a Master in Banking and Finance from Ghent University (2001).

Kacper Szklarczyk

Kacper Szklarczyk joined Finalyse Sp. Z.o.o in 2008 as a Global Business Area Manager responsible for the operational risk area. Since August 1 2009 he is the country manager of the Warsaw Finalyse office.

As a member of the Finalyse community, Kacper is in charge of developing the business activities in Poland, as well as the operational risk practice in scope of company standards, sales prospects and project management.

He has previously worked as Project Manager at Asseco Poland SA and also gained experience in Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young.

Combining Masters in Financial Risk Management, certificates achieved in GARP and CFA institute and over 10 years of professional experience Kacper has acquired the leading edge tool-set and knowledge for conducting and leading projects in the context of financial risk management infrastructures implementations.

Kacper obtained a Master in risk management at Warsaw University.
